JAKARTA, Nov 1: Indonesia’s trade balance for September swung to a deficit of $660 million, following a surplus of $130 million the previous month, the statistics bureau said on Friday.
September exports fell 6.85 percent from a year earlier, and imports were up 0.77 percent.
Southeast Asia’a largest economy reported the first trade surplus in five months for the month of August.
A Reuters poll had estimated a trade deficit of $70 million for September. (agencies)
