JAMMU, June 16: The Indian Under-19 men’s Volleyball team clinched bronze medal in the ongoing Central Asian Volleyball Association (CAVA) U-19 Men’s Championship 2025 held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. India secured the third-place finish by defeating Kazakhstan by 3-1 in the bronze medal match with set scores of 21-25, 25-14, 25-8 and 25-23.
The championship was conducted from June 10 to 16, featuring strong teams from the Central Asian region. The Indian squad demonstrated exceptional skill, teamwork, and determination throughout the tournament, earning appreciation from officials and fans alike.
The management team consists of Manager Kuldeep Mangotra, Head Coach Lakshminarayan K R, Assistant Coaches Surinder Kumar and Mohd Javeed, Doctor/Therapist Utkarsh Kulshreshta and Referee Narender Kshatriya. The achievement is hailed as a proud moment for Indian volleyball and a positive sign for the sport’s future on the international stage.
