Prajapati Sabha holds women conference

JAMMU, Dec 25: Former Minister and spokesperson, BJP Priya Sethi today said that illegal migrants have been treated as vote banks by the Congress and so its leaders are in great desperation after the Passage of Citizenship Amendment Bill (CAB) which is the main reason for their opposition to the Bill.
While speaking at the a one day Women Sammelan organized by J & K Prajapati Sabha, here, today, she explained that CAA is neither against Muslims nor against those who are citizens of India. She said the Act says that the fear of religious persecution among those who do not practice the State religion in the three Islamic countries i .e Pakistan , Bangladesh and Afghanistan have been made eligible to Indian citizenship.
Priya, while explaining the benefits of CAA added that it becomes imperative for everyone to understand that the Act only extends citizenship, but doesn’t snatch anyone’s citizenship.
She accused Congress is spreading fear among people by linking CAA with NRC which has not come as yet for their vote bank and they have got the opportunity to stand against the great leader of India, Narendra Modi.
“Congress and other opposition parties are misleading people and inciting Muslim community for the violence for their political gains, she added.
Former Minister said that the Opposition is indulging in misinformation and falsehood campaigns over the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA).
She also added that OBCs in J&K will get their due in employment and education and will get full reservation benefits after abrogation of Article 370
She said that Modi Government will extend all benefits to OBCs in J&K and Ladakh
The former MLA Jammu East and senior BJP leader Rajesh Gupta was the chief guest on the occasion. He extended his full support the demands of the Sabha.
President Prajapati Sabha Ayodhya Kumar Manwa also addressed the gathering and gave his suggestions for the betterment of women in the society.
On the occasion mementoes were given to meritorious students of the Kumhar community from Class 10th to Post Graduate level by the dignitaries.
Ms Vishali Prajapati was also honoured for her outstanding performance in singing reality show of Punjab Season 10. The proceedings were conducted by F C Satia, general secretary of the Sabha.
The objective of the programme was to bring awareness among the women of the community about their rights.
