JAMMU, Aug 22: Fully endorsing the Government of India’s stand to reject separatists’ talks with Pak National Security Advisor, VHP today said that Hurriyat and other separatist groups don’t represent people of Kashmir and hence have no locus -standi to be invited for talks by Pak NSA.
Separatists are not representatives of Kashmiris as a large section of people in Valley are not ready to accept their hegemony. They included Kashmiri Hindus, Gujjars and Bakerwals as well as other minorities. Moreover the people in Jammu as well as in Ladakh regions also disown the Hurriyat hence they have no right to be party in the talks on Kashmir, he added.
He while opposing the Indo -Pak NSA talks to be held on August 23 and 24 expressed the hope with the Pak keeping conditions on talks GoI will take a firm stand and opt out of talks in the larger national interests.
Dr Dubey said Pakistan can’t be trusted as it always betrayed and dodged India because it never agreed any thing which can help in restoration of everlasting peace in the region. Terming separatists as Pak agents, he said they have no base. He regretted that they are being unnecessarily encouraged and they succeeded in creating power centers within Government. This nexus needs to be broken, he added.
Dr Dubey also demanded a thorough probe that where from the separatists get funds and alleged that they have been making a drama since the day of Rubia Sayed kidnapping case.
Expressing grave concern over the deteriorating situation in the State, the VHP leader said the infiltration is on rise, ammunition and arms are dumped in large number by militants and a large number of terrorists are still in Kashmir but the Government is not giving the exact details where from these terrorists have come.
He also expressed serious concern over the influx of people from Bangladesh and Myammar in Jammu and alleged that it is a part of conspiracy to change the demography of the region. Since they came to Jammu, the crime rate has increased here, he added.
