India no longer a soft State under Modi: Khajuria

JAMMU, June 30: Former BJP State president and senior party leader, Ashok Khajuria today said that India is no longer a soft State under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and no one should take the nation for granted now.
In a statement issued here, today, the BJP leader while giving Kudos to security forces and J&K Police for eliminating the dreaded terrorists from the Valley, said that Modi Government has made it known one and all that there will be no compromise with anti nationals who on the behest of some neighboring countries have waged a war with nation.
Khajuria said the forces who had taken India as a soft State should now understand that it has will and courage to quell those elements who were trying to challenge national unity and integrity as entire nation is fully united under the leadership of Modi. Gone are the days when some so called mainstream leaders within J&K used to blackmail Indian Government on the Kashmir issue. He said had the previous Congress Government taken a bold initiative right from 1947 the situation would have been altogether different in Kashmir and the voices supporting secessionism would have been since silenced.
He held both NC and Congress leadership responsible for turmoil in Kashmir saying the two parties for their vested political interests hoodwinked the masses over the years through their love -hate policies. But now the situation had changed totally and BJP led by Narendra Modi will never allow any one to play with the national interests.
He accused some mainstream parties including PDP of providing logistic support to terrorists by visiting the residences of slain militants to express their sorrow and grief.
Khajuria also demanded that financial assistance granted to children of slain terrorists be immediately withdrawn as there should be no premium on terrorism. Though the process was started by previous UPA Government but the same should be corrected now, he added.
