Political activists, prominent people join party

SRINAGAR, Apr 29: Under the leadership Ashok Bhat, district president Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Srinagar, people from different political and social organisations joined the party here, today.
Those who joined the party included intellectuals, professionals, political leaders and common masses. The trend acknowledges and stamps the programmes and policies of BJP dispensation at Centre and in the states where the party is in power. At development front India has seen unprecedented developmental progress in all fronts in last ten years of BJP rule, the party said.
Continuing it’s joining programme today many political workers joined the party at an impressive function in Eidgah constituency here which was organised by constituency Prabhari Muneer Ahmad and constituency president Mohammad Shaban along with the constituency team in which scores of prominent leaders and faces of National Conference joined the BJP.
The political activists who joined the party included Abdul Rehman Dar (NC block president), Mohammad Shafi ( NC block secretary), Gulam Mohammad Kaloo (NC leader), Gulam Hassan, Abdul Majeed Shamshar, Showkat Ahmad Dar, Habibullah Sofi, Zahoor Ahmad and others.
Ashok Bhat was the chief guest on the occasion. The new entrants in BJP said that National Conference betrayed its workers always as well as people Kashmir for the last 30 years of their rule. They have sacrificed the lives of Kashmiri people for their personal and petty gains.
While welcoming them in to the party, Ashok Bhat, reiterated commitment of the party to work for the welfare and well-being of the people of the country. He said the BJP is today the largest party of the Globe with highest quality of discipline. It’s fame is increasing day by day under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
