JAMMU, Nov 27: Union Minister of State in PMO with independent charge of North Eastern States, Dr Jitendra Singh said that India stands by all parties Parliament resolution of 1994 on PoK that there is no outstanding issue between India and Pakistan except PoK.
While reacting to the statement of former J&K Chief Minister and senior NC leader, Dr Farooq Abdullah, Dr Jitendra Sing said that the only issue is that how to retrieve that part of J&K which is lying under illegal occupation of Pakistan and brining it back to J&K.
However taking a serious exception to the controversial statement of former Chief Minister and NC president Dr Farooq Abdullah on PoK, former BJP State president and MLC Ashok Khajuria said that creating controversies is an old habit with NC leader.
While reacting to the Statement, Mr Khajuria said that it is unfortunate that Dr Abdullah has dragged the name of former Prime Minister, Atal Behari Vajpayee who remained a non controversial person throughout his political life. By dragging the name of such a towering personality like Mr Vajpayee at a time when he is not in apposition to put the record straight due to his ill health, Dr Abdullah has played dirty politics and his statement is inimical to national interests.
Ashok Khajuria, while making a dig at former Chief Minister said that it is not known whether he made this statement as an Indian citizen or as an agent of Pakistan as the 1994 resolution of Indian Parliament is clear that Pakistan has illegally occupied a portion of the J&K State and entire nation has resolved to take it back.
He said there will be no compromise on PoK as it is the part of Indian territory which is under the illegal occupation of Pakistan. Khajuria said BJP is committed to its stand and policies and there will be no compromise on that as the party has given many sacrifices for the integration of J&K with India and its only unfinished task is to get PoK back.
