It is a matter of great concern that divorce rate among couples is on the increase, and many such cases are pending in courts awaiting final decision. The word divorce is now eating into the vitals of society. Earlier, marriages were arranged by parents after taking into consideration all aspects of life status, service, etc. A lot has been observed that such types of marriages would last long, and need for divorce would arise in rare cases. The love marriages usually do not last long. The increasing divorce rate has torn the society asunder and it may have far reacting consequences on the society.
It is time the society goes once again for arranged marriages.
