We are living in a society where with the passage of time crimes are increasing rapidly. This development is destroying the fiber of peaceful co-existence and there is grave threat to the survival of civil society.
With crime graphs going up, the faith of public in the existing system including the police organization, is decreasing. Confidence of society is at its lower ebb on crime control, crime; prevention and justice delivery system. .
To meet the challenge of prevailing anti-social tendencies among youth, terrorism, corruptions, atrocities meted out with the women, poverty and similar other un-lawful activities, there is need to wake up to this reality, the sooner the better it would be for all of us.
With the awareness and education, social media, internet, time has come to change the society from a passive society to egalitarian one. All the organizations, NGOs and civil societies, all forming part of the modern India, need to introspect over the above said increasing crimes/ problems in the society.
