Incorrect J&K map leaves BJP red-faced

NEW DELHI :  The publication of a map of South Asia in an RSS magazine showing a large chunk of Jammu and Kashmir as part of Pakistan figured during Zero Hour in the Rajya Sabha today.
Raising the issue, Ghulam Nabi Azad, Leader of Opposition, described the state as the “crown of the country”, saying they wanted it should continue to remain so.     Alluding to the publication of the incorrect map in Organiser, the RSS mouthpiece, he said the BJP and RSS were often the loudest in their protests over similar misrepresentation by foreign journals.
As several members rose in protest against the map, Minister for Communications and Information Technology Ravi Shankar Prasad, asserted that J and K was an integral part of the country and dissociated the party from the bloomer saying whatever had been published did not reflect the party view.
