JAMMU, Feb 12: A joint delegation of Incharge School Education Officers Forum and Education Employees Co-ordination Committee, Jammu Province, led by Amar Nath Thakur, called on Director School Education Jammu and submitted a memorandum of demands.
The main demands included completion of consolidation process of data of all incharge Officers/Lecturers for submitting to administrative department for regularization of three thousand Incharge Officers, repatriation of all Headmasters, Lecturers and Masters to their home residence working in zone III as per new transfer Policy, Transfer Policy for ReT Teachers, release of salary of SSA , RMSA , KGBV, SBM and all other components timely, stopping of Mass Promotion Policy of students from 1st. to 9th.class etc.
The Director gave a patient hearing to the deputation and pointed out that officials of the department were themselves becoming bottlenecks in sending information on Incharge Officers and at every stage negative trend was propagated by unscrupulous elements.
The delegation comprised of Dileep Dhar, O .P Katoch, K.K. Badyal, Gulam Hussan, Vijay Sharma, Jagdish Raj, Tara Mani Satish Datta and others.
