Imran for timely conduct of Technical Education examinations

SRINAGAR, Aug 24: Minister for IT, Technical Education, Youth Services & Sports, Molvi Imran Raza Ansari has directed the officers to gear-up for timely conduct of the examinations of various streams of the Technical Education so that the students do not suffer.
The Minister was speaking at a meeting held here today to review the functioning of Technical Education Department and to discuss the arrangements to be made for timely conduct of examinations of various streams of the Technical Education.
Minister of State for Technical Education and Culture, Priya Sethi was also present in the meeting.
Stressing the need for timely conduct of examinations of Technical Education, the Minister asked the concerned for completion of process with regard to timely conduct of examinations. He said that the Government is making all out efforts for timely conduct of examinations of technical education so that the academic session do not get disturbed and students can complete their semesters and courses within the stipulated time frame.
Calling for timely declaration of results after exams, the Minister said that the same is also necessary for the students  for getting  admission in other courses within and outside the State. He also asked the concerned  for giving wide publicity with regard to admission process in various streams of Technical Education so that aspiring students can fill admission forms to get admission in  different streams of technical education.
Directing the concerned for devising a mechanism so that the students can fill their examination and other forms online, the Minister asked them to get in touch with the concerned Deputy Commissioners to provide NIC services to the students in this regard.
He said that the services of the NIC centres at Baramuula, Budgam, Srinagar, Ganderbal and Pattan should also be used for the purpose and necessary awareness should also be created about the same through different organs of the media so that the majority of the students can fill their examination forms for appearing in the exams.
Directing the concerned for maintaining a close coordination among themselves to complete the exam process timely, the Minister of State for Technical Education also called for expediting process for  new admissions.
Among others, Secretary, Technical Education Saleem Shishgar, Director, Technical Education, Shabnam Kamli, Secretary, Technical Education Board and other senior officers of the department also attended the meeting.
