JAMMU, Apr 5: All J&K Low Paid Employees Federation (LPEF) has urged upon the State Government to implement 7th Pay Commission report as per the Government commitment.
In a meeting of the Federation held here today, its president Abdul Majid Khan said that it was Government’s commitment to implement 7th Pay Commission report from April 2018 but it is very unfortunate that till today no order in this regard has been issued. The State employees and pensioners are waiting anxiously for the same.
Khan also demanded enhancement of Medical allowance from Rs 300 to at least Rs 1000 per month and release of DA installment due from January this year in favour of employees and pensioners. He also urged upon the Govt to address the issues of Anganwari workers, helpers, ReT teachers, adhoc and contractual employees.
He disclosed that in a meeting of the LPEF held recently , it has been decided take out May Day rally in Jammu on April 27 and pay tributes to May Day martyrs.
