JAMMU, Nov 20: Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) held a protest demonstration against the Central Government for its failure to control the prices of the essential commodities.
The activists of JWAM led by its president Sunil Dimple raised slogans against the Central Government for not taking any steps to control the rising prices of the essential commodities.
While addressing the gathering, Dimple alleged that the rising prices of the essential commodities have created manifold problems for the people especially for BPL families.
He demanded implementation of the Food Security Bill in J&K and also demanded check on the rising prices of the essential commodities.
Among others present were Om Parkash Gupta, Dr Sham Saroop, Vinod Suri, Sushant Sharma, Sat Pal Sharma etc.
