KISHTWAR, June 26: Chatroo Police arrested an impersonator and his associate.
As per police sources, during inspection of the checking roll numbers of the candidates appearing for the exam, the Superintendent of the centre at Government Higher Secondary School Mughal Maidan found a person namely Mushtaq Ahmed, son of Mohammad Shafi of Kuchhal impersonating for other student namely Tariq Hussain, son of Ghulam Ali and had done cheating with the examination staff.
A complaint from Superintendent of the examination centre was produced by Multitasking staff posted at Government Higher Secondary School Mohammad Yousif at Police Post Mughal Maidan.
Acting over the complaint, a team from Police Post Mughal Maidan immediately rushed to the spot and arrested the impersonator and his associate (actual student to appear in the exam).
A case under FIR Number 56/2022 under sections 419, 420 and 120-B IPC and 5 UE Act was registered against the arrested persons and investigation started.
