JAMMU, Oct 16: IkkJutt Jammu today slammed the latest theatrics of members of Gupkar Gang and came down heavily on the seditious, communal declarations made by these so-called mainstream political parties of Kashmir.
In a press statement issued today, IkkJutt Jammu chairman Advocate Ankur Sharma said that the tone and tenor of the statements made by Farooq Abdullah, Mehbooba Mufti and others amount to declaration of war against the Constitution of India and Parliament also.
Pertinent to mention that Parliament of India through both its houses passed in favor of abrogation of Article-370 with overwhelming majority and since then Kashmiri mainstream politicians have been criticizing legitimate proceedings of Indian Parliament with vicious, seditious attacks, he said.
Advocate Sharma further explained how proponents of Autonomy, Self-rule and Achievable Nationhood are gunning for pre August 5th, 2019 arrangement thereby giving them unbridled power to loot, scoot and treat Jammu unfairly with impunity. He said that these leaders must be reined in or else they will initiate another round of mayhem on the streets of Kashmir to achieve their political communal goals.
IkkJutt Jammu chairman also attacked the UT and Central Government for not taking necessary follow up steps post abrogation of Article 370/35-A. These follow up steps would have taken the abrogation to its logical conclusion. He said that proceedings of August 5th and thereafter were partial solution to the Kashmir problem and in order to achieve desired outcome for strengthing the Nation, Prime Minister and Home Minister should call special session of Parliament and further divide Kashmir into two Union Territories, one for Hindus of Kashmir & other for rest of Kashmir and Statehood for Jammu.
