JAMMU, Feb 12: After organizing a mass campaign for separate Jammu State in various parts of Jammu Province, IkKJutt Jammu (IJ) Party’s Yatra along with several hundreds of supporters today moved towards R.S Pura from Satwari.
General masses en-route showered flowers and blessings on the participants.
IkkJutt Party workers and president, Ankur Sharma interacted with several citizens and shopkeepers. Positive implications of a separate Jammu State on Bharat as well as Sanatana Indic civilization were discussed threadbare.
Addressing the media, Ankur Sharma said that separate Jammu State is an idea, time for which has come.
He said that this Yatra is aimed at mobilizing masses for securing Jammu’s political liberation, empowerment and it is meant for putting an end to Kashmir based “bigoted communal hegemony.”
Ankur Sharma categorically said: “Statehood for Jammu is our motto, our battle-cry, our watchword and the Word of Jammu’s political redemption.”
A handout of IJ stated that the Yatra is scheduled to cover all the Blocks, major towns, Panchayats of 10 Districts of Jammu Province in the coming months and it will be a continuous process.
