Jammu, June 23 : IGP, Jammu Zone,Dilbag Singh, today issued promotion orders in respect of 255 Sg.Constables, promoting them to the rank of Head-Constables.
These promotions were cleared by the Departmental Promotion Committee. During the year 2012, 194 Head Constables were promoted as ASIs .
The timely conducts of promotion have added to the high morale of subordinate officers / officials and their better job performance. Also by promoting Upper ranks, Lower ranks officials get a chance of promotion for the next rank. This is also a result of regular attention in this area for the welfare of Subordinate Units.
