SRINAGAR: Inspector General of Police, Kashmir Muneer Khan today briefed Governor N N Vohra about the internal security situation in the Valley, particularly south Kashmir.
An official spokesperson here said Mr Khan met the Governor for the first time after taking over the charge as IGP, Kashmir, at the Raj Bhavan here.
Mr Khan briefed the Governor about the Internal Security situation in the Valley, particularly South Kashmir.
Advising close surveillance on all fronts, the Governor asked Mr Khan to ensure that police plays a prompt and pro-active role in solving the problems faced by the people at large. (AGENCIES)
