JAMMU, May 29: The Term End Examinations for June, 2017 of Indira Gandhi National Open University are going to commence from 1st June, 2017 and will conclude on 21st June, 2017.
The University has established 1034 examination centres including 23 overseas centres and 100 centres in Jail for jail inmates.
Under Jammu Region, 45 Examination Centres have been established, including 15 Examination Centres in Kendriya Vidyalayas and 3 Examination Centres in Jails for Jail inmates.
Hall Ticket (Examination Intimation Slips) have been issued to 6, 21,553 eligible students who had applied for appearing in the Term End Examination. The Hall Ticket is available on IGNOU website www.ignou.ac.in. It can also be downloaded following the direct URLs: https://avserver.ignou.ac. in/HallTicket/Hall_0617/Hall0617.asp or http://ignouhall.ignou. ac.in/Hall0617.asp
The students may download the Hall Tickets from the University website and appear in the examination.
Since the Examination Forms were filled online, this time no change /correction of course/(s) or Examination Centre within or outside the region is permitted.
The Examination Centres have been instructed to allow students to appear in examination, even if they do not possess the Hall Ticket (Examination Intimation Slips), but their names exist in the list of examinees for that centre.
Students have been advised to be in possession of the valid identity card, issued by the University during the examination. The mobile phones are not permitted inside the examination hall.
Separate Hall Tickets shall be issued to the students of BCA and MCA for Term End practicals. Students have been advised to contact the Regional Centre in the last week of June, 2017 for their practical examinations. For BLISc. (Library Science) all Theory Examination Centres are not activated for the conduct of Practical Examination. Practical Examination of all the BLIS learners under RC Jammu, who are to appear in June 2017 TEE, will be conducted in the Examination Centre 1201 (Luthra College of Education, Talab Tillo, Jammu) only. Students have been advised to contact the Centre Superintendent and see the notice board for Practical Examination Centre.
