JAMMU, Mar 20: Inspector General, Border Security Force (BSF) Jammu Dinesh Kumar Boora today visited Border out Post (BoP) Octroi in RS Pura area and witnessed the enthralling retreat ceremony as well as band display by the BSF troops.
The IG was accompanied by other senior officers of the BSF. A mammoth audience of around 3000 people was present to see the mesmerizing ceremony which filled them with patriotism and National pride.
President, BSF Wives Welfare Association (BWWA) Jammu Sunita Boora, along with wives of other BSF officers also witnessed the Retreat Ceremony. She also took a first-hand stock of the conditions in which BSF troops perform duties at the border.
She also apprised the BSF authorities (present on the occasion) about the required improvement in the available facilities so that the troops can perform their duties more comfortably and effectively.
