MUMBAI : Telecom operator Idea cellular today launched an easy share plan for its prepaid subscribers. “Earlier, Idea Cellular had launched the Easy Share postpaid plan in some markets last year, and its success has prompted the company to extend the offer to the large base of prepaid users now,” a release from the company stated. Users of Idea’s Easy-share plan can share data, voice minutes and SMS between multiple devices and with other Idea users. The product is the first such initiative for prepaid users in India, and caters to the need of both individual customers with multiple devices, as well as members of a family using multiple connections.
Talking about this initiative, Sashi Shankar, Chief Marketing Officer, Idea Cellular said, “we are happy to introduce the easy sharing plan for our prepaid subscribers. The plan not only helps users to share their voice and data benefits but also provides great value for money.”
