SRINAGAR, May 14: A group of six Indian Administrative Service (IAS) Officer Trainees of the 2025 batch today called on Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha, at Lok Bhavan.
During the interaction, the young officers, who are currently undergoing their district training in the Union Territory, shared their experiences in Jammu Kashmir.
They also shared their insights on several flagship initiatives like Block Diwas, Nasha Mukt J&K Abhiyan, currently being implemented across the Union Territory.
The Lieutenant Governor exhorted the officers to work with dedication and people-first approach and make their valuable contribution to nation’s development journey. He extended his best wishes to them for an impactful career in the civil services.
The group of Officer Trainees included Alfred Thomas, Ruchika Jha, Nidhi, Mohd. Haris Mir, Shagun Singh and Jitendra Kumar.
Mian Mehar Ali, Member of Legislative Assembly from Kangan also called on Lieutenant Governor.
Anant Swarup, Secretary General, Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) also called on Lieutenant Governor.
