JAMMU, Apr 30: The 2-day Indian Academy of Oral Medicine and Radiology (IAOMR) National undergraduate (UG) Convention hosted by the Department of Oral, Medicine and Radiology, Indira Gandhi Government Dental College IGGDC) Jammu in association with Indian Academy of Oral Medicine and Radiology, concluded today.
The two-day event focussed on the theme of 2D to 3D exploring the advancements and applications of 3-D imaging in Oral Medicine and Radiology. The Convention brought together 250 delegates from all over the Country. Attendees had access to a wide range of educational sessions including 14 keynote presentations by eminent guest speakers from all over the Country and hands-on CBCT workshops under the guidance of experienced professionals.
While addressing the Convention, Principal IGGDC Jammu Dr Rakesh Gupta emphasized that this conference is an a unique platform for dental professionals to stay abreast of the latest in dentistry and look forward to hosting such conferences to provide dental professional valuable opportunities for learning and networking. The Convention was an academic feast with discussions of recent trends of maxillofacial imaging.
The Convention was made successful with the efforts of Dr Satwinder Singh (HoD Department of Oral & Medicine and Radiology) and the entire organizing team comprising of Dr Ritesh Gupta, Dr Mamta Sharma, Dr Sandeep Kour, Dr Rimpy Bhagotra, Dr Jahangir Ahmed and Dr Needhika Chibber.
