Jammu, July 4: ‘I Believe’, a documentary film on Dr Karan Singh was screened here today at Natrang Studio Theatre for a jam-packed young audience.
Natrang Director Balwant Thakur said that Natrang will organize its series of shows in the near future as well. He said that it’s must see film for all those who are keen to know about the vision and philosophy of Dr Karan Singh-a legendary cultural stalwart, an educationist and a revered scholar. The film ‘I Believe’ was released by the Prime Minister of India on March 9 , 2012 on the 80th Birth Day of Dr Karan Singh.
‘I Believe – Universal Values for a Global Society’ a documentary film made by celebrated filmmaker Raja Choudhury explores the visions and beliefs of Dr Karan Singh-India’s preeminent cultural, spiritual and diplomatic ambassador to the world. In his 80th year – statesman, champion of interfaith dialogue, author, orator, mystic, singer and Chairman of the Auroville Foundation – Dr. Karan Singh explores the inherent divinity within mankind, the methods of nurturing that divinity, the universality of all religions, the human purpose in this world, the essence of art and beauty, the nature of death and the cosmic destiny that awaits all mankind in its evolution
