‘Hypocrite’ K-leaders cry hoarse on traffic restrictions: Gupta

JAMMU, July 8: Activists of Dogra Front & Shiv Sena under the leadership of their president, Ashok Gupta here today staged a protest demonstration against Kashmir based leaders for blaming security measures of Amarnath Yatra as causing trouble in daily lives of locals there.
Addressing protesters Gupta said that people have to bear with the curbs imposed on civil traffic movements on National Highway for two hours daily as it concerns the safety and security of the pilgrims.
He also made a reference of February 14 terrorist attack on CRPF convoy in Pulwama in which 40 CRPF personnel were killed on National Highway.
“Using medical emergencies etc as excuses, the Valley based leaders are protesting against two hours traffic ban for the safety of Amarnath pilgrims, but, why were these leaders mum on 40 days shutdown in entire Kashmir valley called by Hurriyat when the terrorist Burhan Wani was neutralised,” asked Gupta terming Kashmiri leaders as ‘Hypocrite’.
Prominent among those present in the protest were Ashu, Geeta, Rakesh, Sonu, Bantu, Ajay, Kailash, Ramesh, Sham, Kalu, Nikku, Abhishek and others.
