JAMMU, May 18: Property worth thousands was gutted, when a hut (kulla) caught fire at Santarana area of the district.
As per reports, a hut belonging to Som Dutt, son of Khushi Ram of Santarana caught fire due to short-circuit.
Fire tender and fire fighters were pressed into service to douse the flames, but by that time, the whole hut including essential materials kept inside including clothes and ration were completely gutted.
No casualty has been reported, while police has taken the cognizance.
