JAMMU, Mar 15: A woman received critical burn injuries in a fire incident in Garkhal area of Akhnoor while her husband also got injured.
According to police sources, Priya Devi (25) wife of Kulwant Singh, resident of Garkhal Akhnoor received about 100 percent injuries when a fire broke out in the kitchen of her house due to a bottle full of petrol kept nearby a LPG stove.
Sources said, the husband of the woman, Kuwant Singh (38) son of Shamsher Singh also received some burn injuries while saving her wife. They said both the injured were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where condition of the woman was stated to be critical when the last reports came in.
Akhnoor police had taken cognizance of the matter.
