SAMBA, Feb 4: One person died after a bullet went of suddenly from his personal weapon at forest area of Gurha Slathia of Vijaypur in district Samba today.
According to reports, the incident took place this afternoon at around 2-45 pm, when one person namely Madan Singh, 48, son of Chaggar Singh a resident of Mandi Garh Gurah Slathia area of Vijaypur who had gone to forest area near the village for hunting purpose died due to accidental fire.
Rep[orts said Madan who was bracing up for hunting in the forest area suddenly a bullet accidently went of from his own 12 bore gun as a result he fell down in a pool of blood and died on spot.
Some people in the area saw him in a pool of blood and they immediately informed the police. After getting the information police rushed to the spot and took the body into their custody and shifted it to mortuary room of CHC Ramgarh for autopsy.
In this regard Police has registered a case under relevant sections of the law and started the investigation.
