Swami Ram Swarup, Yogacharya
Suppose a person has been experiencing poverty. He takes food hardly once a day, no good clothes, no house to live etc. Suddenly, a rich person saw him in this critical condition and was surprised. He asked the poor person that in my presence, your father gave you millions of Rupees and other property in your childhood. Where is that amount and why have you become poor? The poor man replied that he has forgotten that amount and property. Then the rich man tried to recollect the truth. After several efforts, the rich man was able to make the poor man understand as to where his property had been kept in the home. The poor man rushed towards his house with the rich man and found lots of money and property papers etc. and thus he also became a rich person.
Idea of the story is this that God has given every comfort, food grains, wealth, health, happiness etc. but without following Vedas and hard-working, leaving behind the laziness, nobody can enjoy such comforts because comforts are within the body whereas people are searching it outside the body. You see, Yajurved mantra 40/5 preaches- “Tadantarasya Tadu Sarvasyasya Baahayataha” i.e. the aspirant who follows vedic path and worships accordingly, he realises God within him and gets every comfort etc.
God has preached the way through knowledge of four Vedas to find out all the said properties within the human body but for the past several years, people are not paying attention towards Vedas and thus are not controlling their senses, perceptions, mind and intellect to obtain all the comforts, happiness etc. within them. They wander here and there in materialistic world to obtain peace but all in vain. For example- Atharvaved kand 19, Sukta 53 throws light that eternal, everlasting and immortal time, in the form of extremely powerful horse keeps on moving. On the time, a pot full of wealth, precious gems and peace is placed. The time is moving on before the wealthy people. The time also gives knowledge of Yajyen to the learned. The learned, in all circumstances, consider the time as an assistant, to accomplish all their moral duties, mentioned in vedas.
To successfully accomplish the duties entrusted by God to human-beings, God has divided human-life span into four parts viz. Brahmacharya, Grihasth, Vanprasth and Sanyaas, considering life time of hundred years.
So, every part enjoys twenty five years of age [time]. God has provided us with knowledge of four Vedas and asked us to make contact with learned Acharya to gain knowledge of four Vedas and to perform daily agnihotra, which is the best deed and worship of God and to purify the whole universe. In this way, we utilize time properly.
Secondly, if we fulfil the preach of God in Vedas, it means we are utilizing the time, which is in the form of horse carrying the pot filled with wealth and precious gems. In that pot, knowledge of Vedas and method of realizing God also exists. So, the person who utilizes the time, as quoted above, he is running (discharging his moral duties correctly) with the speed of time correctly and in the end, he attains that pot i.e. attains salvation, while enjoying all health, wealth etc.
But the person who is lazy and cannot run along with time (horse), he loses the battle of life and after death attains several lower births wherein he experiences nothing but sorrows. As quoted above, the time has also asked us to perform daily Yajyen. In this connection, Samved mantra 14 states that Oh! God bless us, so that we worship You daily, both times, by performing agnihotra.
But it is sad that the above pious duties, to be discharged by human-beings by performing daily Yajyen, both times i.e. morning and evening, are not being discharged for the last several years and the time is being consumed in pomp and show, only earning money, progress in only materialistic articles, science etc. and in this way the horse on which the pot full of wealth etc. has been placed, has run away and human-beings immersed in sea of sorrows, indulge in repentance.
I mean to say, if we would have continued to perform daily agnihotra, the corona disease could not come into existence. This is the conclusion of four Vedas, which emanate directly from God.
See that in the present times, the progress only in worldly matters, science etc., has indulged human- life in illusion and sorrows. So, progress in both sides i.e. in worldly matters, science etc. and vedic spiritualism is required to be achieved simultaneously.
So, be alert, follow Government directions and in addition perform Yajyen/agnihotra daily, both times.
