Humanity saved

Sir,
Any adversity is a test of character, patience and human endurance. Management of any kind of disaster in a militancy hit area is in itself a challange. Taking into account the typical geography of Kashmir Valley, organizing disaster management for a calamity is an herculean task.
The natural calamity and the consequent human tragedy in the possibly worst ever recorded floods in the Kashmir Valley has shaken all. Every human being struck by this deluge has a story to tell.
The nation applauds the contribution of all those persons and organizations which helped in mitigating the suffering of the flood affected people.
Humanhood was left to the mercy of the almighty when the State Government had lost its address and was drowned in floods as admitted by the Chief Minister of the State.
In this context, the efforts of our Prime Minister deserve recognition. He received a first hand information  on the flood situation during  his visit to the State.
It is pertinent  to mention the contribution of the thousands of selfless volunteers who provided succour in this time of hardship and distress. The altruistic  activity of these human beings in this moment of disaster deserves appreciation. They have provided aid and generiousity to the affected  people irrespective of caste, creed and religion. The country appreciates their contribution. This is Insaniyat.
Religious places across the Valley provided shelter to people across the communities and religious beliefs during this  hour of crisis. This is Kashmiriyat. The humanity has been saved. The humankind has won. The worst is over.
The crisis need not be visualized through the eye of a narrow prism. It doesnot matter who has rescued whom. The bottomline is that Insaniyat has saved humanity. Balkanization of the society has been avoided. Unmatched rescue effort by all quaters in J&K has unnerved divisive forces who fear losing ground.
Yours etc….
