JAMMU, Feb 4: Humanity Public School organized its prestigious Achiever’s Award Ceremony with great enthusiasm and dignity to honour the outstanding academic and co-curricular achievements of its students.
The event was graced by the presence of eminent dignitaries. The chief guest, Romi Kumar Vasheshta, Joint Director, Directorate of School Education, Jammu, honoured the ceremony with his presence, while Surinder Balgotra, Zonal Education Officer, Vijaypur, attended as guest of honour. The school management was represented by Principal Gaurav Charak, Vice Principal Anku Charak, Admin Incharge Akashdeep Raina, along with in-charges of various wings of the institution.
A soulful Bhakti song was presented by students of Classes 6th and 8th under the guidance of music teachers Rajan Kumar and Kumar Abilash, enriching the spiritual ambience. The welcome address was delivered by Head Girl Manyata Billowria, who warmly greeted the guests, parents, staff, and students.
The highlight of the ceremony was the distribution of Academic Excellence Awards. Students from Classes 1st to 9th were felicitated with trophies for consistent academic performance, while special recognition was accorded to Board Classes 10th, 11th and 12th for excellent results in JKBOSE examinations. Position holders of Class 12th received cash prizes of Rs 10,000, while other merit holders were awarded trophies and cash prizes of Rs 5,000, Rs 3,000 and Rs 2,000. Awards were also presented in sports, and special appreciation was extended to best parents and best grandparents.
Principal Gaurav Charak expressed gratitude to all stakeholders and appreciated the efforts of teachers and parents.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Head Boy Shubam Singh. The stage was efficiently managed by Aradhana Bhagat, Reena Kumari and Nirmal Kour, while decoration was beautifully handled by Davneet Kour, Vikas Mehra and Class 9th students. The ceremony concluded with the National Anthem.
