KATHUA, Oct 29: District Police Kathua today achieved yet another success when a huge consignment of banned drug was seized by the police which was being smuggled to this side from Lakhanpur.
According to police on a specific information a police party from P/S Lakhanpur headed by Kuljeet Singh Dy.SP DAR, Inspr. K.D Bhagat, SHO P/S Lakhanpur laid a special naka and apprehended one person namely Safeer Ahmad Lone S/O Habib Ullah Lone R/O Aadipura Tehsil Sopore District Baramulla who were carrying banned drugs in the State.
During his search Police recovered 4320 Nos Capsules (Spasmo Proxyvone+), 560 Nos. Rancof bottles, 590 Nos Biorex bottles from the possession of accused person. In this connection, a case FIR No.81/2014 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act stands registered at P/S Lakhanpur against the him and investigation started.
