SAMBA, Apr 6: In pursuance of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the HPCL today provided a modern built Toilet facility to Fauji Public School, village Patti, district Samba.
The facility was formally handed over to the J&K Ex-Services League run, Fauji Public School (FPS) by the Chief Regional Manager of HPCL in J&K, Manish Tandon.
Manish Tandon along with Dogra Ratan, Maj Gen Goverdhan Singh Jamwal, Ex MLC, inaugurated the twin facility separately for boys and girls.
Speaking on the occasion, chairman of the school, Maj Gen Jamwal said that the facility has boosted the ‘Beti Padhao’ as well as ‘Jahan Soch Wahan Chochalaya’ campaign.
Prominent among those present were Col Kulbeer Jamwal, Col PS Dogra, Col Rajinder Jamwal, Col SA Qureshi, Lt Col Sham Lal, Lt Col Dilip Salaria, Lt Col MS Salaria, Lt Col CL Bhangotra, Maj JS Baloria, FPS Principal, Anjana Sharma, students and their parents.
