JAMMU, Sept 22: All J&K Housing Board Employees Association here today staged a protest demonstration to highlight their demands.
The protest was led by Sham Singh, Association president while Babu Hussain Malik, president of Employees Joint Action Committee along with others were also present on the occasion.
The protesters demanded posting of MD and Secretary for J&K Housing Board.
They also said demanded filling of vacant posts in the Housing Board and release of grade in favour of designated I/C Junior Assistants, Supervisors, Draftsman and Khansamas etc.
Establishment of new housing colonies, vacation of land occupied by security forces in Kashmir and reimbursement of claim of Rs 101.48 crore from Kashmir University in Housing Colony Kadipora was among more demands.
The protesters also demanded implementation of Agenda of Establishment Committee which is pending in the H&UDD since 2015 and amendment in recruitment rules as desired by the Financial Commissioner H&UDD.
