JAMMU, Mar 18: Police has recovered a body of a housewife from Krishana Nagar here under the jurisdiction of Canal Police Post, who hanged herself under mysterious conditions.
According to police, Mamta aged 29, wife of Yog Raj of Krishana Nagar died by hanging herself. She was living with her husband in a rented house. Police has initiated the proceeding under Section174 CrPC for further investigation at Canal Police Post.
Meanwhile the body of the victim was handed over to the family members after conducting post mortem at Government Medical College and Hospital.
