MENDHAR, June 18: A house wife died after consuming a poisonous substance at her residence Dharana near here today.
She has been identified as Shameema Akhtar, 45, wife of Mohammed Rafiq a retired teacher. Police attributed domestic problem as a cause for her taking the extreme step.
She was shifted to SDH Mendhar for treatment but after her condition deteriorated the referred her to GMC Jammu but she died on her way to hospital. The Mendhar Police has registered a case under Section 174.
