SRINAGAR, June 17: Legislative Assembly Speaker Kavinder Gupta today constituted a House Committee to look into the matter of enhancement of Constituency Development Fund (CDF) of Legislators and hike in the salary of MLAs and their PROs.
Opposition National Conference (NC) member Ali Mohammad Sagar will be the chairman of the committee and other members will be M Y Tarigami, Nawang Rigzin Jora, G M Saroori, Syeed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, Javid Hassan Beigh, Rajesh Gupta, Davinder Kumar Manyal, Sat Pal Sharma, Devinder Singh Rana and Dina Nath.
Recently members, cutting across party lines, demanded increase in the CDF and salary of MLAs.
