UDHAMPUR, June 19: Some unknown thieves struck a house at Ward number 20 in Udhampur and decamped with cash, gold ornaments and other household articles.
Reports said that the theft took place when owner of the house Parveen Akhtar along with the other family members had gone to attend a function last night. When they returned home today, they found their house burgled.
Locks of the doors and Almirahs had been broken and cash besides other valuable items were found stolen. About 100 grams gold along with Rs 15000 cash were among the stolen items.
Udhampur Police has registered a case in this connection and started investigation.
