JAMMU, Nov 6: Police arrested a hotel owner along with large quantity of illicit liquor.
As per police sources, a team from Ramban Police Station arrested the owner of Ashok Punjabi Hotel along with 70 quarters of illicit liquor, which he was selling from his business establishment at Peer Baba market here.
The arrested person has been identified as Ashok Kumar, son of Bhagat Ram of Thopaal Tehsil Batote District Ramban.
A case under FIR Number 177/2020 has been registered at Ramban Police Station and investigation started.
Police team lead by SHO Ramban Pardeep Sharma made the arrest under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Ramban Rajinder Singh Chib, Additional SP Ramban Rajni Sharma and SSP Ramban Haseeb ur Rehman.
