UDHAMPUR, Nov 29: Hotel, Bar and Restaurant Association of Udhampur launched a website during an event organized here today.
Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Ravinder Kumar was the chief guest on the occasion, Faisal Qureshi, Additional SP Udhampur as guest of honour while Ashok Khajuria, Chief Planning Officer as special invitee.
A members of the Association said that the motive behind the launch of the website is to switch over to the digital marketing. He said the purpose of this new launch is also to upgrade the hospitality industry and to promote tourism in Udhampur.
Vikram Singh Slathia, president of the Association, said that the main attraction of the website is to show case the culture and heritage places of Udhampur. The website contains the whole information about 36 hotels in the district, he added.
The Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur appreciated this step and assured full support to the Association.
