Hospitals’ standard to be raised: Azad

THRISSUR, KERALA, Apr 13:
Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare Ghulam Nabi Azad today said that the Government would raise the standard of the important hospitals of the country up to an international level.
Delivering the first convocation address at the Kerala University of the Health Science in Thrissur Medical College at Mulakunnathukkavu here, he said modern technologies would setup in the field of treatment in hospitals.
He said according to the National Rural Health Mission project of the Central Government about six health science institutions would also be setup.
He claimed that the UPA Government had made considerable achievements in the health sector.
He congratulated Kerala for the special contributions made in the field of health and family welfare. (UNI)
