JAMMU: Former Union Minister and National Conference president Farooq Abdullah today hoped that both PDP-BJP will soon form Government in the state to end over two-month long stalemate.
“We have been waiting for more than two months for them to form the Government and now I hope they would soon be able to form the Government,” Dr Abdullah here told mediapersons at the sidelines of ‘Adventure Sports Mela’ organised by the Indian Air Force at M A Stadium.
He further said the positive outcome of the high profile meeting between the Prime Minister and PDP Chief Mehbooba Mufti should lead to Government formation in the State.
However, reacting to a query that whether Ms Mufti rushed to Delhi to save her own party from split, Dr Abdullah refused to comment but on governance to be delivered by the alliance partners, he said, “ask me the same question one-year after the formation of an alliance Government in the State.” (AGENCIES)
