Honour youth for saving 2 women from drowning: VBKP

JAMMU, Jan 6: Vedic Brahman Kalyan Parishad (VBKP), J&K Unit has demanded that Government must felicitate the youth, Arvind Tripathi, who without caring for his life saved two women from drowning in Narmada river at Omkareshwar during VBKP national convention.
Surinder Sharma, president J&K Unit of VBKP in a statement said that on the morning of January Ist, 2023 when VBKP delegates were taking bath in Narmada river, two women slipped into the river and started drowning. One of the VBKP soldiers, Arvind Tripathi from Gajpur village of tehsil Bansgaon in Gorakhpur (UP), in a daring action dived into 30 feet deep river water and saved these two precious lives. He demanded that Arvind should be rewarded for this bravery.
Meanwhile, National president of VBKP, Subhash Kaushik, demanded better protection work like Ganga Ghat, Haridwar at Omkareshwar as well and deployment of security men during rush at this pilgrimage Centre along the river banks. He further demanded that Arvind Tripathi be rewarded for this brave act.
