This refers to the news item ‘Guwahati High Court quashes resolution through which CBI was set up” DE Nov 8.
This judgement of Guwahati High Court reminds the vetran jurists of the great lawyers of yesteryears who for doing justice to their profession high lighted so big deficiencies & lacune in the provisions of statutes enactments, codes, rules and mandates issued by other judicial or Executive authorities that the adjudicating authorities of different jurisdiction feel bound to pass the judgements on the basis of such fault finding but undefeatable arguements.
Such lawyers deserve to be honoured by the judiciary. Elecanor Roosevelt once said :-
“Great minds discuss ideas; average minds discuss events; small minds discuss people”.
