JAMMU, Jan 29: J&K Batwal Sabha organized a meeting here today and demanded a holiday on the birthday of Guru Gyagi Ji.
JMC Councillor, Rashpal Bhardwaj chaired the meeting and said that Batwal community constitutes a large segment of the population in J&K and it would be injustice if holiday on birthday of Guru Gyagi Ji is not given.
JKBS general secretary, R.L Kaith said that birthday of Guru Gyagi Ji falls on Magh Purnima every year and this year it is on Wednesday, February 16, 2022.
Prominent among others who attended the meeting were JKBS president Rachpal Kaith; Duni Singh Motàn, Jagdish Raj Sandhu, Sham Lal Kaith, Ashok Kumar Motàn, Ram Dhan Lakhotra, Baldev Chand Sandhu, Krishan Lal Tugga, Des Raj Kaith, Waryam Chand Motan, Tilak Raj Bassa, Krishan Lal Motan, Suraj Prakash Sargotra, Bishan Lal Motan and Ved Prakash Sargotra.
