JAMMU, Feb 28: SC Morcha, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Jammu & Kashmir led by its State president, Neelam Langeh held Working Committee meeting at party Headquarters, Trikuta Nagar here, today.
National president of Morcha, Lal Singh Arya, Morcha national general secretary, Sanjay Nirmal and Morcha national secretary, Santokh Singh Gumtala participated in the meeting as special guests.
BJP State general secretary (org.), Ashok Koul, State general secretary, Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal, All Morcha Parbhari, Munish Sharma, SC Morcha Prabhari, Jagdish Bhagat also addressed the meeting.
Lal Singh Arya focused on how to strengthen the party .He said that he always keeps watching the programmes of SC Morcha Jammu and Kashmir and asked them to organize mass awareness programmes in the SC Bastis in order to ensure that the schemes of Centre and UT Governments reach to the people.
Ashok Koul discussed the upcoming programmes of the party and laid stress upon taking the Scheduled Castes welfare policies to the community with an aim to provide them maximum benefit of Central sponsored schemes. He asked the Morcha leaders and workers to establish a strong connection with the community and ensure that they avail the benefits of the previously mentioned schemes.
Dr. Devender Manyal explored the current political situation in J&K after abrogation of Article 370. He said that all the achievements in J&K have been possible after abrogating Articles 370 and 35A as these were big hurdles in the path of development and progress of J&K and the welfare of its people.
Munish Sharma stressed on the prominent roles of Morcha in strengthening the party.
Earlier, Neelam Langeh in his address threw light on previous programs conducted by the Morcha. He said that the Morcha would always be ready to carry out every programme of the party with full dedication and assured the national president that in the upcoming elections, BJP will emerge victorious in all the reserved constituencies in J&K.
Morcha vice president, BR Rao read the Morcha resolution.
Morcha general secretary, Gulshan Bhagat conducted the proceedings of the meeting.
Former MLA, Kuldeep Raj presented a vote of thanks.
State office bearers of SC Morcha, district presidents, executive members and special invitees were present during the meeting.
