Hold legacy of Vajpayee: Kaul

JAMMU, Dec 24: Addressing a gathering of the office bearers and the core members of BJP Kashmir Displaced District in presence of MLC Surinder Ambardar and State Vice President Moti Kaul at Pt Prem Nath Dogra Hall Kachi Chawni, Jammu, BJP General Secretary Organisation, Ashok Kaul termed Atal Bihari Vajpayee as the Bishma Pitamah of Indian Politics.
Mr Kaul said, Vajpayee, whose birthday will be celebrated with fervour and gaiety throughout the country tomorrow, was at Shayama Prashad Mukherjee’s side when he went on fast unto death in Kashmir in 1953.
Describing Vajpayee an orator par excellence, Mr Kaul said that he earned much fame as Indian External Affairs Minister when he delivered world acclaimed speech to the United Nation General Assembly in Hindi.
While appreciating the function which was organized by BJP Kashmir Displaced District, Kaul stressed upon to hold the legacy of Vajpayee.
Speaking on the occasion, MLC Surinder Ambardar said that Vajpayee’s involvement in politics began as a freedom fighter during quick India Movement in 1942-45.
Moti Kaul, while speaking on the occasion said that we must take a leaf out of Vajpayee’s book, which speaks volumes with respect to individual endeavours and relentless fight for the goal of National Integrity.
President BJP KDD, the chief organiser of the programme also spoke on the occasion.
The office bearers of BJP KDD who participated in the programme included Vice Presidents JL Pandita, RK Koul and R Razdan, General Secretaries PL Dhar and BB Gosani, Secretaries Chaman Lal and AK Sher and members AK Koul, Bansi LAL Razda, Shuban Ji, Dolly Ji and Runy Ji.
