JAMMU, Nov 21: All Displaced Kashmiri Pandit United Forum (ADKPUF) has taken the State Government to task for not holding the interviews of migrant candidates at Jammu instead of Srinagar.
The ADKPUF in its emergency meeting held under the chairmanship of D N Kissu while discussing the issue said that this shows that the coalition was least bothered for the welfare of the community.
The meeting said by calling the migrant students to appear in interviews in Kashmir Valley where they have no proper place for boarding and lodging at a time when Winter season has already set in reveals the callousness of the Government towards these youth.
The meeting said that despite the assurance given by the concerned authorities that the interviews will be held at Jammu, the Government failed to keep the commitment in this regard.
Addressing the meeting P L Sudeshi president of the Forum made an appeal to Chairperson SSRB to look into the matter and arrange interviews of all migrant candidates at Jammu instead of Kashmir Valley.
