H&ME releases Rs 9 lakh for procuring anti-rabies vax

 

Excelsior Correspondent Srinagar, Mar 25: The Health & Medical Education (H&ME) Department has sanctioned over Rs 9 lakh in favour of Principal Government Medical College (GMC), Srinagar for getting the anti-rabies vaccines. “Amount of Rs 9.69 lacs (Rupees nine lakhs sixty-nine thousand only) is sanctioned in favour of Principal, Government Medical College, Srinagar, out of available funds under classification…. for its further placement at the disposal of Managing Director, J&K Medical Supplies Corporation Limited, J&K for procurement of anti-rabies vaccines for the treatment of dog bites,” order issued in this regard said. The advance drawl has been made subject to conditions which include that the amount drawn shall be spent during the current financial year and that the Chief Accounts Officer, GMC, Srinagar shall vouchsafe the availability of funds. “All codal formalities/ procedures/ standing orders shall be observed before making the purchases; the Red Account/ Utilization Certificate of the advance shall be submitted to the Accountant General within the stipulated time.”
